The Director of Talent Management manages and supports the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that build functional and leadership skills to ensure operational excellence and delivery of the business strategy.

  • Manage Organizational Development (OD) strategies and processes;
  • Assesses organizational development needs of operating, business and functional units
  • Manages the talent review and succession planning process
  • Leads the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet OD needs and program goals including performance management, culture and employee engagement
  • Designs and executes key programmatic elements of the OD process, including architecting the learning and development portfolio
  • Manages the provision of expert facilitation for training and development programs
  • Oversees the global Learning Management System (LMS) and effectively utilizes the tool to administer, track, and report training investments
  • Provides consultative services to the business units regarding structure, engagement, and development
  • Plans and leads short and long-term planning for OD programs
  • Prepares budgetary recommendations that meet departmental goals and provides for effective management of resources
  • Leads creation of Masonite foundation that supports the culture and further defines corporate purpose
  • Supervises internal communication resources

  • Advanced computer and communication skills

  • Master’s degree in business or organizational development/organizational behavior; Related experience considered in lieu of education
  • 6 to 10 years of related experience required; Experience working with organizational development for operations in a large organizational and/or functional business unit
  • Demonstrated history or delivering impactful consultation that delivers business results
  • Experience leading and directing the work of others through both formal and informal reporting relationships
