Responsibilities Masonite is looking for a Front-end REACT/Angular Engineer with a passion for developing websites that provide an unparalleled digital experience. Developer will leverage innovative technologies such as React, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 to develop mobile responsive web applications in an Agile start-up environment.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to articulate the best technological business solution.
  • Analyze user story acceptance criteria to ensure the technical feasibility and point out potential issues.
  • Write high quality code with readability, efficiency and maintainability in mind (documentation and unit tests).
  • Code review the work of other developers.
  • Improve internal tools, libraries, standards, and Continuous Integration.
  • Actively participate in our scrum meetings work with the team to diagnose and resolve bugs and support requests.
  • Implementation of restful services for product selector Mentor junior developers.
  • Follow Coding Standards for Team.

  • 5 years overall industry experience.
  • 3 years+ solid experience with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, CSS3, HTML5.
  • 3 years+ experience working with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React or Vue.
  • A strong design aesthetic and the ability to create intuitive, functional user experiences Experience with graphical content creation tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus Experience with version control systems such as git and SourceTree.
  • Experience with web application frameworks such as Composer, and Bootstrap, Webpack, NPM.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as PHPUnit, Mocha, Selenium, and Jasmine.
  • Other Desirable Skills and Qualifications.
  • Experience with React Native is a plus.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript implementations such as ES6.
  • Mobile platform, cross-platform and responsive web application development experience.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with backend database systems such as MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Exposure to backend ORM/ODM systems such as Doctrine and Propel.
  • Exposure to, or experience with, any of the following: Node.js, Amazon Web Services, basic Linux tasks.
  • Exposure to, or experience with, integration testing tools such as Jenkins, Mocha, Chia Bamboo, Karma.
  • Be self-motivated, task-oriented, detail-oriented and bold!
  • Good interpersonal and technical communication skills.
  • A great sense of humor!!
