Position reports to the SVP Human Resources; Responsible for all HR activity for the architectural business which includes 7 manufacturing locations and 1,300 employees inclusive of a corporate team based in Tampa, Fl.  Location preference for role is Tampa.  Progressive HR leader with ability to manage manufacturing teams.

  • Strong HR Business Partner: Able to support leaders on talent management, organization structure, HR strategies, employee relations, compliance, training and development, workforce planning.
  • Demonstrated change management ability; need to work closely with business leadership and drive integration of acquired business units
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of plant HR professionals and insure that tasks and deadlines are accomplished
  • Demonstrated ability to implement!! Must be able to understand conceptual and then develop plans, communication and processes to implement across the business
  • Support a full business team from finance to sales and marketing
  • Must be extremely professional; someone with clear credibility sought out for guidance and counsel.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness to communicate with plant employees and respectfully resolve problems
  • Union relations knowledge and experience; prior CBA negotiations experience desirable
  • Works well with others; team orientation
  • Strong background integrating newly acquisitioned plants/business into culture of new business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; SPHR / PHR certification is a plus 
  • 10 – 15 years for HR experience plus 5-8 years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in a union environment
