Responsibilities

To support the activities within the Masonite Industrial Engineering department. These will include product design, product development, research and data management. Generate concepts for new door configurations that address trend categories, help build a glass rendering capability, assist in other design projects and priorities as needed.

  • Build upon existing techniques and software to develop a quick and realistic glass rendering technique under guidance from the in house industrial design team. This will require building a library of glass textures, room sets, lighting templates, etc. that can be universally applied to multiple projects.
  • Assist with ongoiing design projects and priorities as needed
  • Generate concepts for new door configurations that address trend categories
  • Contribute in design and product development meetings
  • Under the guidance of in house industrial design team, help improve project information organization and cataloging within existing SharePoint structures.
Qualifications
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design
