Masonite Corporation- Stockton location is seeking to hire 2 Industrial Maintenance Technician roles. We are looking to hire a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician with 6-8 years’ experience and another Industrial Maintenance Technician with 3-4 years’ experience. 


Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager this position is responsible for supporting various maintenance functions including but not limited to: troubleshooting running equipment, modifications to existing equipment, preventative and predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Position will require flexible hours on the weekends.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Task and Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance as necessary to maintain production at target efficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production and plant equipment.
  • Perform and record assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Housekeeping is a priority in order to provide a safe, clean and organized work environment.
  • Building maintenance.
  • Position requires a high level of mental alertness and attention to detail, as well as good physical health and strength.

In addition to the Maintenance Technician task and responsibilities the Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician role will be leading the Maintenance lead on project and stepping in to manage the team when the Maintenance Manager is on vacation. 

  • Maintain housekeeping and safety of Tier 1 area. Provide training, demonstration and coaching to assigned process/team on lean tools and methodology.
  • Provide regular communication, feedback, coaching and ongoing support to the team regarding process
  • Monitor and ensures a positive work environment for employees.


  • A minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance service.
  • Electrical experience needed in 460/230 3 phase services, troubleshooting circuits, motor starters, lighting and control wiring.
  • Pneumatic understanding or manufacturing machinery and general plumbing skills highly desirable.
  • Must have experience with hydraulic pumps and piping.
  • Ability to weld with mig and stick machine.
  • Proper use of torch rig, electrical hand tools, grinders, drill motors, die grinders, porta band, and bench grinder
  • Must be able to lift 60+ lbs.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder and work in high areas.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Technical education is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
  • This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be highly alert at all times.

In addition to the Maintenance Technician qualification the Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician role will also require:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of industrial maintenance service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) required for coaching others.
  • Ability to lead, influence and motivate a group of peers without direct supervision authority.
  • Successful candidates have shown a good performance record of technical competence and leadership demonstrated through performance feedback at the meets or exceeds expectations level.
  • Self-driven, accountable, high integrity, open communicator, strong work ethic
  • Intermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook are required, fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Strong time management skills. Must be able to handle various issues simultaneously and prioritize.
  • This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be highly alert at all times.
