Primary internal distributor interface for the following: pricing decisions, estimate follow-ups, proactive sales calls, and value added selling, new product introductions and selling. In addition provides coordination of sample requests and status of orders. 

  • Position is responsible for negotiating price and selling products and services to our distributor base. 
  • Represents the Customer Solutions team on special projects.
  • Maintains a distributor profile for each distributor within assigned territories.
  • Provides technical assistance to distributors/customers on products, labeling, and special applications.
  • Provides competitive market intel
  • Part of team that increases market share within assigned territories.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, or minimum of two year technical degree (or equivalent work experience), that includes ability to read and interpret blue prints. 
  • 3-5 years of industry experience or Sales experience
  • Knowledge of architectural specifications, wood products or wood industry is preferred. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc) is required.  
  • Knowledge of computer order entry systems a plus. 
  • Telemarketing, negotiation, persuasion, organizational, planning, time management, interpersonal/teaming, consultative selling and proven selling skills are preferred. 
  • Must be willing to work in a team-based environment.
  • Flexible to work at other Masonite Architectural locations depending on business needs.
