Are you a Chemical or Mechanical engineering student in your Junior or Senior year looking for an internship?

This position will report to Subject Matter Expert (SME)  Dr. Jim Pfau, Research Fellow

  • Improve prototype test equipment to reduce error and automate data collection.
  • Collect data to validate equipment improvements.
  • Document work and present findings to group of Innovation Center scientists and engineers.

Learning Outcomes:

Application of engineering education to development of test equipment for measuring dynamic response of wood fiber- based products to high humidity.



  • Sophomore to Senior level university training in chemical, material or mechanical engineering.


  • University chemical or engineering laboratory training.
