Responsibilities

Our Corporate Tax Internship position is designed to provide participants with a broad exposure to the corporate tax function with an emphasis on federal, state and international tax reporting as well as providing support for tax accounting. The Tax Intern will also assist in the preparation of corporate tax return work papers and conduct tax research and planning as requested. They will receive guidance from the tax senior/staff about the work that needs to be completed.

Role Description

  • Assist with the preparation of US Federal and State income tax returns
  • Assist with tax accounting for the quarterly financial statements
  • Assist with other tax projects as required, including high level research of US federal income tax issues
  • Maintain work product in an organized manner
  • Maintain strong computer skills to enhance the efficiency of projects and maintenance of tax data
Qualifications
  • College Junior or higher working toward an Accounting degree
  • Completion of Federal Income Tax Course
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 or higher in core classes
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of personnel in various departments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)
